The students’ web magazine Global Politics is a scholarly journal published by the civic association SOCIETAS 2001 in cooperation with the International Institute of Political Science at Masaryk University.
Global Politics publishes articles focused on international relations, European studies, law, economics and political science. Authors of articles in GP are typically students of the social sciences, although it is not a necessary qualification to publish in the journal. Articles proposed to Global Politics editors for publication are evaluated in independent and anonymous peer review process.
Potential authors can send their submission in standard text formats to the e-mail address of the GP editorial staff. Your submission should include a title, the author’s name, a short abstract (max. 100 words), three to five key words, some information about the author and the text of the article. The editorial staff will make the final decision about whether the article is accepted. Editors reserve the right to proofread the text and make grammatical corrections.
Articles should also respect formal requirements for academic texts. Citations should be contained in the text and footnotes should be used only for substantial comments and discussion. Citations should contain the surname of the author, year of publication of the source and page number; all in brackets; e.g. “(Mearsheimer 2005: 124)”. Authors can follow citation rules as used by the Czech Journal of Political Science
Global Politics publishes various genres of texts: studies, articles, reviews, essays as well as reaction papers.
